The Right Cricket Bat?
I am looking for a Adidas or Gray Nicolls Bat.
£80-£100
It has to be light but pretty powerful.
Has anyone got any that fit that description?
Thanks
IF, you are willing to go a touch over, for 110 you could get a Ignite Four Star (Grey Nichols) on line from this site:

they normally retail for 155 so it is a bargain

The glycemic index or GI compares foods rich in carbohydrates based on the reactions of glucose in the blood. High GI foods are rapidly absorbed by our bodies and make our blood glucose levels in the blood rather quickly. Moreover, the low GI foods take longer to decompose and provide the blood glucose levels more stable. You are probably familiar with sugar levels followed by accidents. These ups and downs in energy, mood and hunger levels are known as the seesaw effect. It takes longer to digest low GI foods, so these foods release their energy into the bloodstream gradually, which helps create and maintain satiety. If you're not hungry, you'll be less tempted to snack.
High GI can lead to wild fluctuations in their levels of blood sugar, which may cause overproduction of insulin by the pancreas. This often results in disease as hypoglycemia, syndrome X and diabetes type II. Research also suggests that diets with lower GI foods can contribute to increased cholesterol levels "good" that can help reduce the risk of heart disease.
Many low GI diets are not limited to low food intake IG. Usually recommend including more low GI foods in your diet. You can add a low GI food at a meal, and will lower the GI for the entire meal. If you is a very active person, you should include both high and low GI diet to benefit from the optimal energy for exercise.
High GI foods include many carbohydrates (eg pasta, bread, rice, cereals and bakery products). Low GI foods are fruits, vegetables, legumes and whole grains. It's not all black and white, however. There are many shades of gray. Bananas and potatoes for example GIs have midrange. The degree of food processing and how cooking time also affects the gastrointestinal level. This is why traditional rolled oats have a lower GI of instant oatmeal as additional processing instant oatmeal in allowing the starch to be more easily exposed to digestive enzymes, which speeds digestion.
You can lose weight and improve their health and welfare of increasing the amount of GI foods to ingest, but it is only one factor to be taken into account. For example, chocolate is dense energy and nutrient-poor, while a low GI food, it will not help you lose weight. However, IG can be quite helpful in choosing foods that are low in fat saturated and high in nutrients.
